NOTE REGARDING PACKHORSE CRAYFISH: The measurement of this has been blanked out on our poster due to the sudden change by the Ministry of Fisheries after our posters were printed. The old measurement was taken by the tail length, but this method has been changed as of April 2024. Measure packhorse rock lobster tail width in a straight line, between the tips of the two large (primary) spines on the second segment of the tail. The minimum measurement for males is 84mm. The minimum measurement for females is 90mm
